Pet Policy at Leoness Cellars

Last updated: 01/14/2026

Leoness Cellars welcomes well-behaved pets as part of the winery experience. Our estate offers open-air spaces, scenic grounds, and outdoor seating where guests often enjoy time with their dogs. To maintain a safe, comfortable environment for all guests, staff, and animals, we ask that pet owners follow the guidelines outlined below when visiting the winery.

General Pet Guidelines

Pets visiting Leoness Cellars are expected to remain under control at all times and accompanied by a responsible adult. Leashes are required throughout the estate. Guests are responsible for their pet’s behavior, comfort, and well-being during their visit. Pets should remain calm, non-disruptive, and respectful of other guests, staff, and winery operations. Any aggressive behavior, excessive barking, or unsafe conduct may result in staff requesting removal from the property.

Where Pets Are Welcome

Leashed pets are welcome in approved areas across the Leoness Cellars estate. This includes outdoor spaces, vineyard walkways, terrace seating, and the tasting room. These areas allow guests to enjoy wine and the estate setting while visiting with their pets.

Pets must remain under control at all times and should be comfortable in a public, social environment.

Areas Where Pets Are Not Permitted

For health, safety, and operational reasons, pets are not permitted in the following areas:

• The Restaurant at Leoness indoor dining spaces
• Food preparation or service areas
• The Barrel Room interior event space

These restrictions support food safety standards and help maintain a comfortable experience for all guests during dining service and private events.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Leoness Cellars operates as an active winery, restaurant, and event venue. Guests visiting with pets should expect varying levels of foot traffic, service activity, music, and private events depending on the day.

Staff reserve the right to adjust seating, request relocation, or limit access based on crowd size, event activity, or safety considerations. These decisions are made to maintain a positive experience for all guests.

During peak hours, private events, or high-traffic service periods, seating locations and access may be adjusted by staff. These decisions help ensure a smooth experience for guests, pets, and winery operations.

Service Animal Information

Service animals trained to perform specific tasks for individuals with disabilities are welcome in all areas where guests are permitted, in accordance with applicable laws. Emotional support animals and comfort animals do not qualify as service animals under federal guidelines and follow the standard pet policy outlined above.

Leoness Cellars is committed to creating a relaxed, enjoyable environment for all guests. We appreciate your cooperation in helping maintain a welcoming atmosphere across the estate.
